The Rosstown Council adopted the fiscal‑year 2027 budget on June 11, approving capital projects and setting the town’s appropriations limit for the coming year.
Town Manager Johnson said the town remains in sound financial position and highlighted a capital projects fund created to support civic‑campus modernization; at the end of FY2027 the town expects to have set aside $13.7 million toward that program. “The budget provides current services as well as new projects and programs discussed during multiple workshops this year,” Johnson said. Staff described a proposed Ross Common rehabilitation project estimated at about $1 million and reviewed staffing and pension considerations.
Council adopted resolution 2628 approving the FY2027 budget, setting the public‑safety parcel‑tax rate and amending the town salary schedule, and resolution 2629 setting the appropriations limit under Government Code section 7910. The motions passed on roll call votes with all council members voting yes.
