The department provided a breakdown of 2024 responses by type: 53 fire calls, 50 rescue/medical assists, 30 hazardous condition calls with no fire, 14 service calls, 49 good-intent calls, nine false alarms, two severe-weather incidents and two special-incident types. Monthly volumes varied; January accounted for 23 calls while other months ranged from 10–26 responses.
For January 2025 the department reported 21 calls year-to-date and $181,000 in losses recorded so far. The representative also gave call-location details, noting responses within the village and surrounding townships.
Council members did not take formal action on the report; it was received as information and added to committee and departmental records. The report was presented by a fire department representative to the council during the departmental reports portion of the meeting.
