Versailles council approves package of pay, personnel and budget items; schedules police feasibility hearing

Attorney Tom Guillozet read the ordinance by title; Mr. Paulus moved to read the measure a second and third time by title only and Mr. Steinbrunner later moved to approve it, seconded by Mrs. Dieringer. Council members also approved a set of personnel changes recommended by the Personnel & Policies Committee: amended job descriptions for the Fire/EMS Chief, Utilities Administrative Assistant and Refuse Collection Laborer; targeted updates to the Personnel & Policies Manual (sections on licensure/registration/certifications, recuperation time and insurance); an updated salary and hourly wage scale; and a proposed Compensation Split Schedule.
