Owners Ben and Amber Arnett, joined by Wes Martin, briefed the council on plans for The Rails of Versailles, a restaurant to occupy 39 E. Main Street, the former Endless Pint Brewing space. They said renovation work is underway and that while no official opening date is set they hope to open sometime this fall; hours of operation will be announced as the opening approaches.
Mr. Martin said he was drawn to Versailles because of the care taken to keep the downtown area attractive. The owners said the menu will offer a variety of food and beverage options and that they are excited about bringing a new dining option to Main Street.
The presentation was informational; council did not take formal action on the project at the July 10 meeting. Owners will provide opening details as renovations progress.
