Waite Hill council adopts payment resolution, approves minutes and ratifies finance committee appointments

Waite Hill Mayor Ryan W. Cox presided as the Village Council on Nov. 11 voted unanimously to approve the Oct. 14 meeting minutes, adopt Resolution No. 2024-15 authorizing certain payments, and appoint and ratify members of the Finance Committee.
The minutes were approved following a motion from Councilmember Richard Steudel, seconded by Councilmember Abby Hiltsley. Mr. Scheucher moved to adopt Resolution No. 2024-15, which Mr. Steudel seconded; roll call for both actions recorded Yeas: Doty, Hiltsley, Scheucher, Steudel and Winterer, Nays: None. The Council then voted to appoint Brian Doty, Mr. Knezevic and Karl Scheucher to the Finance Committee and to ratify prior committee actions; that motion was made by Mr. Scheucher and seconded by Mr. Steudel and also passed on a unanimous roll call.
The actions were presented as routine fiscal and governance housekeeping: the resolution authorizes the payment of specified sums as read into the record, and the committee appointment formalizes membership and ratifies the Finance Committee’s prior measures. The motions and roll calls were entered into the minutes as official Council action.
