Warsaw council approves minutes, donations and finance reports; deputy reports March activity

The Warsaw Village Council approved routine business and received departmental reports at its April 16 meeting.
On a motion by Corey Fischer, seconded by Josh Young, the council approved the March 19, 2025 minutes. The council accepted memorial donations in memory of Gerald Fox (River View Fax. Soc. Fund $25; Paul and Jinni Bowman $40; Jeffrey Larr $50; Debbie Darr $60) on a motion by Jerry Funk, seconded by Jesse Fischer. The March finance reports (Fund Status, reconciliations and registers) were approved on a motion by Brenda Davis, seconded by Renee Hardesty.
Deputy Robert E. Wagner submitted the March law-enforcement report: 10 complaints/calls for service, 8 public assists, 4 county assists, 31 village assists, 7 friendly warnings and 3 policy trainings; cruiser mileage and fuel usage figures were recorded in the report. Jerry Funk delivered the Walhonding Valley Fire District monthly report, and Jesse Fischer noted the Regional Planning Commission meeting schedule. The meeting was adjourned after a motion by Renee Hardesty, seconded by Josh Young.
Mayor Ed Kent and Fiscal Officer Tammy L. Pope signed the minutes at the close of the meeting.
