Board approves district agreements, OSBA membership and appoints President pro tempore for January meeting
Summary
The board approved a licensing agreement with The Rock Box, membership in the Ohio School Boards Association at $6,890, participation in the OSBA Legal Assistance Fund at $250, and appointed Mrs. Proctor to preside over the January 2025 Organizational Meeting.
The administration recommended and the board approved the following as part of RES. NO. 89-24 and RES. NO. 90-24: a non-exclusive licensing, direct-sales and brand-use agreement between The Rock Box and Warren Local School District effective Dec. 16, 2024 through June 30, 2025; district membership in the Ohio School Boards Association for 2025 at a cost of $6,890; and participation in the OSBA Legal Assistance Fund at a cost of $250.
The board also approved appointing Mrs. Proctor as President Pro Tempore to preside over the January 2025 Organizational Meeting. Each motion passed on voice vote with four members voting yes and one member absent.
