Warren Local presentation shows district earned 4-star rating; WCCC earns 5 stars

Lori Ludwig, who presented the district report card, told the Warren Local Board of Education that the district earned an overall rating of four stars. The presentation came during committee reports and drew praise from board members.
During the meeting, Mr. Crum, board member, said Mrs. Ludwig “did a superb job presenting the District’s report card results,” and noted the four-star rating is among the highest in the area. Jesse Roush, serving as legislative liaison, also reported that WCCC received a five-star rating on its report card.
Board members used the committee reports to summarize current operations. Mr. Allen, board member, reported that maintenance and transportation are running efficiently and outlined committee discussions on when the new archery building will go out to bid, the status of a planned health clinic, options for central office facilities, and progress on new junior-high softball fields. Mrs. Proctor, board member, said the finance committee will meet Oct. 16.
The presentation and committee updates provided context for the district’s academic and facilities work as the board moves into the fall calendar. The board’s next regular meeting is scheduled for Oct. 24, 2024, at Warren High School.
