At its July 22 meeting at Stone Park Village Hall, the Village of Stone Park Board of Trustees approved $259,106.89 in bills for the period June 24–July 22, 2025 and separately authorized three vendor invoices tied to building and grounds work.
Trustee Marco A. Gutierrez presented the expenditures breakdown, saying the General Fund totaled $187,829.07, the Motor Fuel Tax fund $3,140.86, and the Water Fund $68,136.96, for a combined total of $259,106.89. Trustee Gutierrez moved to approve the bills and Trustee Loretta J. Teets seconded; the board approved the motion by roll-call vote with Trustees Teets, Gutierrez, Paz and Roman voting aye. Trustees Sylvia Terrazas and Nazario Garcia were recorded absent.
Earlier in the meeting the board approved three vendor invoices under Building & Grounds. Trustee Loretta J. Teets moved, and Trustee Simplisio Roman seconded, approval of Vision Construction & Consulting, Inc. Invoice #3983 for $81,490.00; the motion passed on the same roll-call pattern. Trustee Teets then moved, and Trustee Marco T. Paz seconded, approval of Vision Construction & Consulting, Inc. Invoice #4145 for $92,256.71; that motion also passed. Finally, Trustee Teets moved and Trustee Marco A. Gutierrez seconded approval of Design Bridge Invoice #25020-VSP-01 for $26,500.00; the motion passed.
The meeting record shows roll-call votes for each motion with the four trustees present voting aye and two trustees absent; no ‘no’ or ‘abstain’ votes were recorded in the minutes for these items. The minutes do not provide additional project descriptions for the invoices or budget line items beyond the vendor names, invoice numbers and amounts. The clerk reported that the village is currently in Audit Week and that auditors said they were impressed with the village’s progress.
