Board reviews $78,875 excavation proposal and demolition contract recommendations for Stone Park Sports & Entertainment Center

Trustee Loretta J. Teets told the Village of Stone Park Board of Trustees on May 13 that she would seek approval of Premium Exterior Services, Inc. Proposal #24-2187-R for $78,875 for excavation and grading at the Stone Park Sports & Entertainment Center.

The memo and supporting documents were included in the board packet, Teets said. She then introduced Jim Fraghia of Vision Construction & Consulting, Inc., who briefed the board on the companion Building Demolition Project. "A total of 12 bids were submitted for the project," Fraghia said, which he described as a strong response and noted that the packet contains his award recommendations.

The presentation did not record a formal board vote on either the excavation proposal or the demolition award during the committee meeting; packet materials were circulated for board review and potential action at a subsequent meeting. The minutes indicate the board received the update and that the proposals are slated for action as outlined in the meeting materials.

The $78,875 figure for excavation and grading is specified in the packet; the demolition update cited the number of bids but did not list winning bidder names in the committee minutes.
