Norton commission approves four orders of conditions and a certificate of compliance

The Norton Conservation Commission on Feb. 23 approved multiple routine permitting actions: an order of conditions for 50 Clap Street, orders for 9, 27 and 25 Germaine Way, a full Certificate of Compliance for 26 Barrels Court, and the minutes from the prior meeting.
Staff reported that the 26 Barrels Court project (file 250-275) dates to the 1990s; the agent conducted a site review and compared aerial imagery and recommended a full Certificate of Compliance to allow the owners to close a pending sale. The commission voted to issue a full COC.
For 50 Clap Street (file 250-1198), Josh White (JDE Civil) had presented plan clarifications earlier in the meeting; staff had prepared a draft order of conditions that included a condition addressing potential future paving of the driveway. Commissioners approved the order with language allowing the permittee to pave in the future under the conditions discussed.
Three Germaine Way files (9, 27 and 25 Germaine Way; files 250-1200, 250-1201, 250-1202) each presented similar plan updates: revised proposed tree lines, updated silt-sock/silt-fence details and split-rail fence detail adjacent to sediment controls. Staff indicated the changes addressed prior comments; the commission voted to close each hearing and issue orders of conditions.
The commission also approved the meeting minutes from Jan. 29 by roll-call vote.
What happens next: Orders of conditions will be issued for the approved files; the applicant teams may proceed with related board-of-health submissions and individual house-permit filings where applicable.
