SELMA, Ala. — At its June 15 meeting the Selma Appearance Commission considered four certificate‑of‑appropriateness requests and completed action on each item. The commission denied the COA for 110 West Wadell Street due to ordinance noncompliance; it approved a porch screening at 106 South Massie Street; it limited and approved the 110 West Anderson application to a painted sign for 'Twin Stars Tattoo'; and it approved a modified storefront for 117 South Street (version two) with lighting optional. Presiding officer signature was authorized for final orders on approved and denied items.
