Salem Township engineers to present Crabtree sewage plan after board says costs still under review

At the Aug. 21 meeting a resident, Eric Hageder, asked for an update on the Crabtree sewage initiative. Supervisors told Hageder that the township has not finalized plans or costs and that engineers are preparing a review showing which areas would receive sewage service and the associated estimated costs. The board said engineers will prepare a presentation for the public and affected stakeholders and that presentation is expected by the next regular meeting on Sept. 18, 2024.
The board did not adopt any funding decisions at the meeting. Supervisors framed the matter as an ongoing study and indicated future decisions would follow after the engineers' presentation and stakeholder discussions.
