Tremont awards Seal Cove Road contract, authorizes temporary repair for Kelleytown culvert

The Tremont Select Board on Oct. 21 awarded the Seal Cove Road construction contract to BFP Trucking and Rings Paving for $53,502, to be paid from the town’s Road Improvement Reserve. The motion, made by Select Board member Kevin Buck and seconded by Howard Goodwin, passed unanimously.
At the same meeting the board authorized a temporary repair for culverts at the marsh on Kelleytown Road, approving a motion by Eric Eaton, seconded by Kevin Buck, to pave over the existing culvert area as an interim fix. That motion also passed unanimously.
The board approved FY25 warrants #35–#41 during the meeting, listing the following amounts: #35 $14,833.23; #36 $69,000.00; #37 $14,871.83; #38 $132,650.83; #39 $15,029.36; #40 $1,503,894.37; and #41 $222,453.04. The warrants were approved on a motion by Kevin Buck, seconded by Eric Eaton, and the vote was unanimous.
The board also accepted the town’s July–September 2024 financial reports on a motion by Kevin Buck, seconded by Howard Goodwin; that motion passed unanimously.
