Select Board approves Timberland Acres liquor license renewal; Trenton joins Community Resilience program

At the Select Board meeting on April 28, board members approved routine business and one license. John Bennett moved and Susan Sargent seconded to approve the amended agenda and the April 14 minutes; both motions passed 4-0. The board also approved accounts payable and payroll warrants by the same margin.
Under Other Business, John Bennett moved to approve a liquor license renewal for the Tavern at Timberland (Timberland Acres); Judy Sproule seconded the motion and the board voted 4-0 to approve the renewal.
During updates, Judy Sproule reported that Trenton has been formally enrolled in the Community Resilience program and said Janna Richards will write the program grant. Fred Ehrlenbach noted the League of Towns Officials meeting is scheduled for June 28 at the Neighborhood House. The Select Board adjourned at 7:43 p.m.
Motion and vote details recorded in the meeting minutes show votes on agenda approval, minutes approval and warrants each passed 4-0; the liquor license renewal likewise passed 4-0.
