Following an executive session held Oct. 7 under statutory authority 1 MRSA 405.6.A, the Tremont Select Board voted unanimously to transition the Deputy Code Enforcement Officer position to an Administrative Assistant position.
Town Manager Jesse Dunbar had asked the board to find that public discussion of personnel matters could harm employees’ reputations or privacy and the board moved into executive session at 6:09 p.m. The board closed the session at 6:35 p.m. and immediately voted to reclassify the position; the motion was made by Kevin Buck and seconded by McKenzie Jewett.
