Tremont Select Board adopts sustainability committee bylaws and revises purchasing policy

Kevin Buck moved and McKenzie Jewett seconded adoption of the August 12, 2024 version of the Sustainability Committee Bylaws; the motion passed unanimously. The minutes record that the Sustainability Committee’s chair, Sarah White, was present for the meeting; the minutes do not quote the bylaws or list substantive changes.
Later in the same agenda the board considered an amendment to the town’s Purchasing Policy. Town Manager Jesse Dunbar introduced the request for discussion; Kevin Buck moved and McKenzie Jewett seconded to adopt the August 12, 2024 version of the Purchasing Policy as presented, and the motion passed unanimously.
