Elections: John Bennett moved and Susan Sargent seconded a motion to elect Fred Ehrlenbach as Chair of the Board of Selectmen; the motion passed 5-0. Danielle Cole moved and Susan Sargent seconded a motion to elect John Bennett as Vice-Chair; that motion passed 5-0.
Procurement and finance motions: The board unanimously approved a motion to request proposals for paving repairs on Goose Cove Road (mover: John Bennett; seconder: Susan Sargent), to request a quote for a new Town Office sign (mover: John Bennett; seconder: Danielle Cole), and to request a quote for a new copier for the Town Office (mover: John Bennett; seconder: Danielle Cole). The board also approved and signed accounts payable and payroll warrants after a motion by John Bennett and second by Danielle Cole; vote: 5-0.
The board did not discuss funding allocations for these procurements during the meeting; each item was a request to solicit bids or quotes as a next administrative step.
