North Baltimore council approves ambulance repairs, hires Jones & Henry for CSO engineering and moves to advertise farm lease bids

Utility Director Mr. Roberts reported two contractor quotes for a proposed CSO (combined sewer overflow) closure. Structurepointe quoted $46,000; Jones & Henry quoted $17,000 but the initial Jones & Henry proposal lacked a pre‑construction clause and warranty. Council approved a motion by Mr. Richmond (seconded by Mr. Engard) authorizing the Village Administrator to enter into a revised contract with Jones & Henry for engineering services related to the CSO closure; the motion passed with council members present approving.
Council also approved a motion by Mr. Engard, seconded by Ms. Hefner, to advertise for bids to lease farmland for two years. Mayor Patterson indicated the leases will be for a two‑year term.
