Commission hears nominations for waste disposal commission; one withdrawal and one nomination announced
Summary
Staff reported that one nominee withdrew for the Waste Disposal Commission and announced a nomination for Tyler Huner; the nominations will be forwarded for commission approval later in the summer.
During the workshop staff reported two names had been considered for appointment to the Loudon County Waste Disposal Commission. Staff said one potential nominee, Cole Con, withdrew his name. Staff then said they would nominate Tyler Huner and that Huner "is willing to serve on the board." Staff told the commission they expect to forward the nomination(s) for commission approval in August.
The report was procedural; no formal confirmation votes were taken at the June 15 workshop.
