The Village of Pleasantville Council approved a supplemental appropriations resolution at its Nov. 14 meeting to cover operating supplies and materials in the street fund and office supplies for Mayor's Court. The packet attached purchase orders showing $580 for Mayor's Court; the street fund amount was shown in the purchase documentation provided to council members.
Council President Michelle Deal presented the resolution (referenced in the meeting packet as Resolution 1142401; the transcript also includes an earlier variant '11142 2401' in discussion). Members moved, seconded and approved the appropriation as presented; no detailed roll‑call tally for that motion appears in the transcript beyond the chair's confirmation that the motion passed.
The council also conducted second readings of two ordinances affecting utility debt service charges: Ordinance 1010‑2402 (water debt service charge) and Ordinance 1010‑2403 (storm sewer debt service charge). Both were on their second reading; no final adoption vote was recorded at the meeting.
Separately, members reviewed a resolution to contract for entertainment at next year's music and street festival with an amount shown in the packet of $6,200. Mayor Jason reported one sponsor of roughly $3,000; councilmembers voted to table that resolution to the next meeting until sponsorship and contract details are clearer.
Other procedural items at the meeting included tabling approval of the regular meeting minutes to allow corrections and standard committee reports and updates on capital projects, grants and maintenance work. The council adjourned at about 8:00 p.m.
