The Greene County Legislature considered and approved a broad slate of routine resolutions covering contracts with school districts, capital and road-repair bids, mental-health agreements, vehicle purchases, budget amendments and other county business. Most items passed on voice votes or roll call, with recorded opposition on several individual items.
Among the items the legislature approved were authorizing agreements between Greene County Mental Health and several local central school districts, authorization to award bids for emergency bridge and county-route repairs, vehicle purchases for county mental-health services and amendments to the 2026 budget for Sheriff's explosive-detection K-9 and mental-health grant adjustments. The chamber also approved hiring Rausch Executive Search Inc. for a comprehensive executive search (one recorded roll-call showed multiple opposed votes on that measure). Several chargeback and assessment-roll related motions were authorized for the 2026 tentative roll and related services.
Clerk and chair calls throughout the meeting recorded many "Aye" voice votes; where opposition was explicit in the record, the clerk noted the names or that there was one or more opposing votes. No final tally with each member named was consistently recorded for every resolution in the transcript.
