Administrator Ken Myers told the board the Heritage Park DCNR grant application scored 63.5 out of 100; the DCNR grant representative said projects typically receive funding when they score about 80–85 points. Myers said the representative offered to review the application and he plans to resubmit by the April 30 deadline.
Myers also reported that RCAP has completed the PennVest application for the Mentzer Gap Road waterline project; he will perform a final review and submit the application by the Feb. 4 deadline. He said auditors have begun preliminary work on the 2025 audit and township staff are providing requested information as time permits.
Myers praised the road crew for snow-plowing work and noted there were multiple mailbox-damage complaints the township will review; he said only a portion of complaints appeared to be the township’s responsibility.
