Quincy Township approves 2026 pay increases, mileage rate and reaffirms staff after executive session

Following an executive session on Jan. 5, 2026, the Quincy Township Board of Supervisors approved employee compensation and personnel matters for 2026.
The board recessed into executive session at 3:47 p.m. and reconvened at 4:46 p.m. The board approved a cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) for township employees as presented on the 2026 rate-of-pay sheet. The board also established the privately owned vehicle (POV) mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate of $0.725 per mile for 2026.
Minutes show the board reestablished employment for the township’s Administrator, Secretary/Treasurer and assistant Secretary/Treasurer, Road Foreman, road crew, water and wastewater plant operators, zoning officer and all full- and part-time staff; the board also reappointed Chairman Alan Peck as Roadmaster. All motions recorded in the minutes carried unanimously.
The meeting then proceeded to reaffirm employee holidays and benefits and to approve attendance and expense reimbursement policies for county and Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors (PSATS) conventions and training; the board authorized one paid day to attend the PSATS educational conference April 19–22, 2026.
