At its June 10 meeting, the Washington Court House City Council approved several measures including a development agreement, confirmations of appointed members to local boards, and authorizations to seek grant funding.
Resolution R19-2026 was adopted to authorize the city manager to enter a pre-1994 residential Community Reinvestment Area (CRA) agreement with Fourstar USA Real Estate Group, Inc., under stated terms and to approve related materials. Council recorded a unanimous roll-call in favor (all members voting yes on the recorded vote).
The council also adopted Resolution R20-2026, confirming the appointment of Steve Willis to the Board of Zoning Appeals for a term through Dec. 31, 2029, and adopted Resolution R21-2026 authorizing the city manager to apply for NatureWorks grant funding and accept obligations if awarded. Resolution R22-2026 and R23-2026 were placed on first reading (R23 confirms the appointment of Larry Milstead to the Civil Service Commission for a term through Dec. 31, 2028).
Where recorded, roll-call votes were in the affirmative for adopted resolutions. The council then moved to executive session to discuss pending litigation, confidential matters and economic development issues.
