Commissioner John Paul Young moved to advance in englobo a package of new‑business items and resolutions and to refer ordinance 66‑28 to the Rural Development Committee. Commissioner Stormy Gage Watts seconded the motion.
Young read the motion to "Englobo in advance ordinance 67 20 66 27 and 66 28, resolution 42, resolution 43, resolution 44, and the special resolutions on our agenda today," then amended the motion to exclude ordinance 66‑28 and refer it to the Rural Development Committee. The chair called the vote and announced, "And that motion passes with aid in support, none in opposition." The clerk recorded the motion as carried.
No roll‑call vote with named tallies was read into the record during the work session. The chair earlier noted eight of 12 commissioners were present for the meeting. Commissioners did not discuss substantive details of the ordinances during the vote; they indicated items could be presented for full consideration and formal action on Thursday.
The commission moved on to committee reports and other communications after the vote.
