The board also acknowledged retirements (including Chris Rochin) and approved a variety of supplemental and summer-program contracts.
The motion to approve the superintendent report (items A—F and G1—G10, with a title correction for Jim Nichols) was moved and seconded; a roll-call vote recorded five affirmative votes and the motion carried. The board separately approved the treasurer's reports, minutes and several contracts and service agreements, including a University of Dayton mental-health therapist contract for $22,950 and county ESC service agreements (Hamilton County ESC services totaling $320,525.60; Warren County ESC nursing services totaling $284,752).
Board members asked for one administrative title correction to be reflected on next month's agenda and expressed congratulations to new appointees. The superintendent said some details (for example, specific start dates or additional contract provisions) will be finalized administratively and returned to the board as required.
