This would normally cost you between $5,000 and $10,000," Lancaster said, describing the value of moving to a formal concept and rendering stage.

The motion was made and seconded and carried by unanimous voice vote; the committee did not record individual roll‑call votes.
Next steps: the committee will send its recommendation to the select board and ask the board to authorize the consultant contract and initial rendering funds from the library building account. Members agreed to invite Sebago Technics to the next committee meeting if the select board approves the recommendation. The committee also plans a site walkthrough to confirm circulation, snow‑storage and fire‑department access before finalizing details.
