Board asks staff for routine reports after discussion of hanger transfers, snowblower procurement and paving

Board members asked staff to include hanger transfers and property-sale notifications in the monthly report so the airport can track new tenants and power-meter changes at individual hangars.
Staff said lease language requires notification of transfers, bills of sale are public record, and he will supply a report of recent hanger transfers to the board. "I will provide you with a report of what I provided," staff said during the meeting.
Members also reviewed a procurement problem: a newly delivered snowblower was incompatible with the airport’s tractor power-take-off (PTO) arrangement. Engineers and the vendor are working to identify whether a replacement or a PTO-driven pump retrofit is preferable; staff said the airport has not paid for the new unit pending a fix and noted the older blower remains serviceable though worn.
Separately, members discussed using allocated TIF funds for part of a parking-lot paving job. The board asked staff to ask the contractor whether a partial scope could be completed for the previously approved $50,000 ceiling.
On personnel, staff announced Dana’s resignation; the board discussed moving meetings to daytime to reduce staff overtime and asked staff to circulate replacement applications for consideration at the next meeting.
