A member said DOT told them the Main Street–rail intersection is scheduled for reconstruction next year; the member added that the rebuilt approach could include a four‑way stop to address safety on a steep grade with prior crashes.
Town staff asked residents to report specific problem times and locations so engineers can review sensor or camera issues that may be causing skipped phases. No formal motion was made on the signal issue; staff said they will follow up with the state and DOT engineers and report back to the board.
