Pandora council approves water-bill forgiveness, amended Riley Township fire agreement and several expenditures

Pandora Village Council on April 8 approved multiple administrative and financial items, including one-time bill relief, an amended intergovernmental fire agreement and routine expenditures.

Council approved three one-time calendar-year forgiveness requests for water bills — one covering February charges and two covering March charges — filed on behalf of residents who experienced undetected leaks. Councilman Gray moved to approve the forgiveness requests; Councilwoman Dettrow seconded and the motion passed unanimously.

The council also reviewed and approved the amended fire agreement with the Riley Township Trustees covering Jan. 1, 2025, through Dec. 31, 2027. Financial approvals recorded in the minutes included non-payroll bills of $18,220.92 and payroll of $14,377.43, for a total of $32,598.35, and approval of the current credit-card statement for $759.16.
