Pandora council adopts 2025 appropriations resolution in 5-1 vote

The Pandora Village Council adopted Resolution No. 2025-736 on Feb. 25, 2025, approving appropriations for village operations through Dec. 31, 2025. The motion to adopt was made by Councilmember Gray and seconded by Councilmember Eisenbach; the resolution passed with Councilmember Burkholder voting no and the other five members voting yes.
The Finance Committee had reviewed the appropriation at the fund-function-object code level before the council vote, and the resolution was read aloud at the meeting. In the same session the council approved non-payroll bills totaling $31,106.23 and payroll of $28,599.13 for a combined $59,705.36; that motion, made by Councilmember Burkholder and seconded by Councilmember Eisenbach, passed unanimously.
Council also approved the current credit card statement for $123.51 (motion by Councilmember Braidic, seconded by Councilmember Dettrow) and a one-time water-bill forgiveness request for a resident whose January bill resulted from an undetected leak (motion by Councilmember Fricke, seconded by Councilmember Dettrow). The meeting opened with Mayor Jeremy Liechty presiding and adjourned following the scheduled business.
The appropriation resolution establishes the spending framework for the village for the remainder of 2025. Implementation will proceed under the oversight of the finance committee and village fiscal officer.
