The Calhoun County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved its Oct. 14, 2025 agenda and ratified minutes from Oct. 7 and Sept. 30 during a routine session at the Calhoun County Courthouse in Rockwell City.
Scott Jacobs moved to approve the agenda as presented; Cory Ridgely seconded and the motion carried on a unanimous vote. The board subsequently approved the Oct. 7 and Sept. 30 minutes after separate motions by Ridgely and Jacobs.
In a financial motion, Ridgely moved and Jacobs seconded a motion to review and allow county claims checks numbered 80340–80484, bank drafts DFT0005332–0005362 and stamped warrants 505950–505959; the board approved the motion unanimously. The meeting packet supplied a detailed vendor claims list covering routine county obligations, including public safety, road work, library payments and medical supplies.
No additional drainage business was presented. The agenda item concerning the county farm lease was tabled for further discussion at a future meeting; no action was taken on the lease.
The board adjourned after a motion by Ridgely, seconded by Jacobs, and set its next regular meeting for Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
