The Calhoun County Board of Supervisors entered trustees for drainage matters and approved a series of repairs and a work order on Oct. 21.
On a motion by Supervisor Scott Jacobs, seconded by Supervisor Cory Ridgely, the board approved proposed tile repairs for Drainage District 71; the minutes state "Ayes all. Motion carried." The board approved JT DD.25 Pocahontas 39 Calhoun work order C-23-2025 on the same motions. The board also approved proposed open-ditch repairs for DD 13 and authorized payment for beaver tails in DD 20. The record shows each drainage motion carried with unanimous votes.
The board began the drainage business by entering trustees for Calhoun County drainage and concluded it by exiting trustees on a separate motion; both motions are recorded as carried. The minutes do not provide engineering reports, cost estimates, contractor names, or timelines for the listed repairs.
Those affected by the decisions include landowners and stakeholders in the listed drainage districts. The board did not record additional directions to staff or a timeline for when repairs would begin in the minutes.
