Pandora council approves $137,964 in bills, adopts two purchase‑order resolutions and pays water‑tower invoice

Pandora Village Council on Feb. 11 approved payment of non‑payroll bills totaling $122,212.52 and payroll of $15,751.44, for a combined total of $137,963.96.

The vote to pay the bills followed a motion by Mr. Burkholder and a second by Mr. Gray and was recorded as unanimous in favor. Earlier, Mr. Eisenbach moved and Mrs. Braidic seconded approval of the Jan. 28 minutes; voting recorded in the minutes shows Burkholder, Eisenbach and Braidic voting yea and Mr. Gray abstaining.

The council also adopted two resolutions authorizing the fiscal officer to create "then‑and‑now" purchase orders to pay Gerding Excavating (Resolution Nos. 2025‑734 and 2025‑735). Mrs. Braidic moved to adopt Resolution 2025‑734; Mr. Burkholder moved for Resolution 2025‑735; both motions passed with unanimous votes.

Council reviewed and approved a Bockrath & Associates invoice for January services on the Water Tower Replacement Project in the amount of $5,225.00 and agreed to pay the invoice using grant funds. The motion to approve the invoice was made by Mr. Eisenbach and seconded by Mr. Burkholder; the minutes record the vote as all yea.

Other routine financial items approved included the Fund Summary, Bank Reconciliation, Bank Balance Reports and the Revenue and Appropriation Summary Reports for January 2025, and the current credit card statement for $452.14. The council also voted to contribute $250 to the Ohio Municipal League to support enhanced advocacy services.
