The River Ridge Community Development District adopted its fiscal year 2024/2025 budget on Aug. 27, 2024, after board members corrected errors in the version included with the meeting agenda.
At a public hearing opened by Cleo Adams, district manager, no property owners or members of the public spoke. Chuck Adams, district manager, told the board the budget in the agenda packet was not correct and identified scrivener errors; Kurt Blumenthal, assistant secretary, moved to adopt the amended budget and Robert Twombly, assistant secretary, seconded. The board adopted Resolution 2024‑07 — relating to annual appropriations, authorizing budget amendments and providing an effective date — with all in favor.
Board members said the correction included clarifying the description for "Street sweeping" on page two of the budget document and other ministerial edits. The resolution authorizes the district to implement the appropriations and to make subsequent budget amendments as provided for in the resolution.
The adoption concludes the statutory public‑hearing requirement for the district’s fiscal plan for the year beginning Oct. 1, 2024, and ending Sept. 30, 2025. The board did not set a separate public hearing continuation or ask for additional public comment on the adopted figures.
