The council also approved proceeding with the televising of the main sewer, including inspection and PACP coding, at a rate not to exceed $2.50 per foot (motion by Angelo Norelli; second by David Kowalski). Both motions passed 5–0.
Council Vice President Mark Stecak had earlier reported public-works activity on Summit Street, including core drilling and traffic restrictions; sewer televising is part of the borough’s broader infrastructure inspection and remediation efforts.
What’s next: Borough staff to coordinate the subscription and inspection schedule; costs will be tracked against departmental budgets. Council did not discuss a specific total linear footage estimate at the meeting.
