Glassport council approves $548,119 in general fund bills and reports higher interest after bank switch

Treasurer Elaina Skiba told council that the borough has received $22,896.64 in interest after moving accounts to Brentwood Bank. Council voted 5–0 (two members absent) to approve the financial reports and to pay the listed bills.
Skiba also reported that the borough is entering the third year of its contract with Waste Management; the new 2025 fee will be $27.99 per month plus a processing fee for billing.
