- Special-event permits: a street-dance permit for 'Doctor Feelgood' on Aug. 8 sponsored by Bradley's Pub and Grill (fundraiser) and an application for Mitchell Area United Way Day of Caring (projected about 350 volunteers) on Aug. 12; staff recommended approval and the council approved both permits.
- Multiple plats and related resolutions (resolutions creating new TIF districts, plats outside city limits or in the ETJ) were approved after staff confirmed planning-commission recommendations and notice requirements.
All of these items passed by voice vote during the meeting; staff noted the usual conditions and reporting requirements (e.g., construction per plans and installation of utilities).
