Kim Spencer, Road and Bridge Supervisor, updated the Caribou County commissioners on several maintenance issues on Nov. 26, 2012. Spencer said reclamation of the Grace Pit is almost complete, reported a leaking roof at the Bancroft shop and said she will talk with Randy Stephens about soliciting bids to repair it. She said the West Fish Hatchery Road is soft and crews will reblade and shape the road that week.
The board discussed the idea of designating some Forest Service roads as Schedule A roads on the county map; Spencer will invite Dennis Duehren from the Forest Service to a future meeting to discuss the proposal’s intent.
The minutes record intended follow-up but do not provide cost estimates or a firm schedule for roof repairs or road work.
