Caribou County approves $76,412.77 in claims and flags three funds with negative balances

Clerk Veda Mascarenas reported three funds with negative balances. She said the Special Highway shortfall will be corrected by recoding a claim to be paid from the Mineral Leasing Fund; the Reappraisal and Health funds are expected to be corrected in January when property tax turnover is completed.
