Jason Lower, Landfill Supervisor, told the board that about 356 tons of garbage were dumped during the county’s free garbage week. He said the county will implement a tire fee in accordance with Caribou County Ordinance 9004 and that proceeds from scrap metal sales at the landfill will continue to fund the Angel Tree program as in prior years.
The minutes do not include the per-tire fee amount or an implementation date; Lower’s remarks were recorded as an operational update to the commissioners.
