Caribou County Sheriff Rick Anderson told the board on Feb. 11 that the county must address jail-standards compliance and raised concerns about gun-violence and a possible firearm policy for the courthouse.
Anderson said the county will hold a working lunch with the commissioners and the prosecuting attorney on March 25, 2013 to discuss compliance with jail standards. He also asked that the matter be discussed at the regional Four County Meeting on April 16, 2013.
The minutes do not record a formal action at the meeting; the entry records the scheduling of the March 25 working lunch as the next procedural step.
