Road and Bridge begins back-country snow clearing; county awaits Agrium decision on Blackfoot River Road

Kim Spencer, Caribou County Road and Bridge Supervisor, told the commissioners on March 11 that crews have started opening back-country roads to remove snow and that the county is waiting for Agrium to decide whether it will cover snow removal on Blackfoot River Road.
Spencer said employee lunch breaks were discussed and that the board will meet with the Road & Bridge crew on March 26, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. to follow up. She also said she will obtain bids for 60 radiant heaters to serve all three county shops and present those bids to the board.
No formal action was taken at the meeting; the issues will be reconsidered at the March 26 meeting and after bids are returned.
