Caribou County commissioners approve $238,206 in claims, donate $250 to Lions Club program

Commissioner Phil Christensen moved to pay the claims and to approve the Jan. 28 minutes as amended; Commissioner Mark Mathews seconded. Chairman Earl Somsen, Christensen and Mathews voted yes on the motion. The minutes list department-level ledgers and program trust accounts in the approved claims package.
During the same session, the board voted to add two late items to the agenda: appearances by Steve Harrison and Duyane Sims. Later, Duyane Sims, representing the Lions Club Distinguished Young Women program, requested county support; Commissioner Mark Mathews moved to donate $250 and Commissioner Phil Christensen seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
The minutes record that Denise Horsley, Indigent Director, presented and the board signed a lien on application 201317. The board also agreed to retain Lloyd Rasmussen as a member of the TV Translator Board.
The meeting adjourned at 5:00 p.m.; the board’s next regular meeting was set for Feb. 25, 2013 at 9:00 a.m.
