The Bettsville council voted to authorize $7,848.40 to cover refeed and switch‑gear work to service the village’s new EMS building.
Council members said they have largely resolved the overall switch‑gear configuration with the state but still require one refeed and a change to a 4‑amp switch gear feed to meet state requirements. The additional $7,848.40 is intended to cover that local offset and related purchase order processing. Members noted part of the larger transformer and pole work is being paid by the state and that the local payment will likely post in December or early January depending on permitting and approvals.
A motion to spend the amount passed on a roll-call vote and staff were asked to provide a copy of the invoice and to issue the purchase order.
