Park Director Mark Hester recommended replacing the community center flooring and presented two quotes; the board approved Bowers Painting, Inc.'s low quote of $23,900.00. Sims presented HVAC replacement quotes for the board room and the board approved Southern Air Services, LLC's low quote of $14,300.00.
Administrative matters: The board authorized Mayor Gunn and City Clerk Linda Wigley to sign the Municipal Compliance Questionnaire for fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2025, approved placing an advertisement in the Rankin County News to hire a water/sewer supervisor, approved the claims docket, and approved the minutes of Sept. 16, 2025. Mayor Gunn adjourned the meeting at 6:55 p.m.
