According to the report, association representatives said the $21,000 balance would fund care for roughly four years at current expense levels and that the group was considering purchasing a plaque or making some donation in support of the entire cemetery. Council members questioned why assistance was not being provided to all gravesites; the association representatives explained their current scope and financial position during the board meeting.
No formal action was taken by council at the Oct. 26 meeting; Ms. Noack asked that the council minutes be amended to reflect that the Cemetery Association was 'considering dissolving' rather than already dissolved, and council approved that amendment earlier in the meeting.
