Council member Renell Noack moved to confirm the Planning Commission decision; Council member Gary Vojtush seconded. The motion attached conditions requiring compliance with the engineer's Oct. 7, 2022 Project Review Report and that the proposed building conform to the style and general aesthetic shown in the submitted drawings. The roll-call vote was Jesse Ferko-yes, Renell Noack-yes, Gary Vojtush-yes, Nick Magistrelli-yes, Alan Hipps-yes and Kevin Lewis-yes; the motion carried.
The Planning Commission had recommended approval at its Oct. 19 meeting. Council accepted the commission's recommendation while explicitly conditioning final conformity on the engineer's comments; the council did not amend the site plan itself during the Oct. 26 meeting.
Engineer Daniel Collins had earlier reviewed the project and produced the Oct. 7 project-review memo the council cited as the basis for technical comments. The council did not set additional conditions related to traffic mitigation, stormwater or changes to the submitted drawings during the confirmation vote.
The next procedural steps for the applicant are to address the engineer's comments, satisfy any remaining administrative conditions, and obtain any required permits before construction permits are issued.
