Richmond Heights council approves Office 365 licensing, corrects 2025 transfer; minutes approved 6-1

A motion to approve the minutes of the Jan. 13, 2026 meeting passed 6-1 after Council President Bobby Jordan moved and Councilwoman Justice seconded; Councilmember Nelson voted no. The vote was recorded by the clerk.
The council unanimously approved Resolution No. 14‑2026, authorizing the mayor to enter a purchase agreement with CHI Corporation for annual Microsoft Office 365 licensing. Council President Bobby Jordan moved to suspend the rules (seconded by Robinson) and Councilmember Ursu moved approval (seconded by Silver); both votes were unanimous.
Council also unanimously approved Resolution No. 15‑2026, correcting an error in Council Resolution No. 170‑2025 related to an interfund transfer for fiscal year 2025. Council moved to suspend the rules (Jordan moved; Robinson seconded) and approved the resolution (Ursu moved; Robinson seconded).
Ordinance No. 12‑2026 (introduced by Mayor Thomas, amending Section 131.04 of the Administrative Code regarding the mayor’s contracting authority) was held on its second reading; no final action was recorded. The meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
